Academy Conversion Update

Just a very quick update about our proposal to convert to become an Academy with Abington Vale Primary, Headlands Primary, Lings Primary and Weston Favell Primary - I have had a number of meetings with the Head Teachers and we have started the ball rolling, taking legal and educational advice and planning a vision which aims to benefit the children and staff in all of the schools involved. We will all be holding informal meetings for parents soon, where you can come and find out more and ask questions, prior to the formal consultation starting later this year.  You can follow some of the events so far on my Head Teacher blog.:

ICT Award

I’m in London at the BETT show watching Mrs Timmis and Miss Folland receive a very special ICT Award in recognition of our amazing ICT, computer and technology provision. There are only 16 in the whole country and we got one. Yay! VERY proud head teacher. Well done EVERYONE for being so amazing, and well done Miss Folland and Mrs Timmis for putting together such a brilliant presentation.
