Take a Tour of Our School

•Join our Year 5 children as they take you on their tour of Ecton Brook Primary School.

Main School Entrance

On entering the school you see examples of the children's artwork. There is a key-pad with a security number to stop strangers from getting into the school. In the reception area there is a big desk with a phone and a computer. Mrs.Russell sits here she takes care of hurt children. There are photos of the staff. There is a side office for paper work and money. Next to that is the Head’s office. We work hard to make it a nice place for visitors. There is soft seating ,toys, and magazines.

This is the I.C.T suite

The I.C.T suite is a large room and there are 21 computers. Each one of the computers has a set of head phones. Every computer is connected to the internet and we have our own login names and we can store our work in the shared area on a server. The room is nice and cold because it is air conditioned.

Art Room

•We have a colossal art room that is used by for every class it has large colourful tables that can extend to any height.

•There is storage for paper, paint, fabric and other art , materials.

•There are 2 power sinks that are used to wash hands, cleaning things, and for washing paint pots. There are large transparent windows.

•The very essential photocopier is kept here.

Kitchen

You can find the kitchen the children use by following the delicious smells that come from it. There are shiny steel taps, sink and worktops, a fridge and a microwave, as well as plenty of green cupboards and drawers full of equipment. In the middle there is a large table with seats for 10 pupils ,you can cook but there also is a breakfast club in the mornings.

The big library

There is a big library in the middle of the school in which there are large glass windows that let in lots of light. In the library there are nearly 9000 books that are stored on new shelves. The books are split into fiction and nonfiction. Our books are new , interesting and colourful.
